Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana

Problems with Husbands Ex Wife

I don't deal with my husbands ex wife to often, but when I do she calls the law everytime. They call me on the telephone and tell me I need to leave her alone or they can arrest me. My question is doesn't there have to be a no-contact order in place and isn't this harrassment of the police dept? The only time I have every contacted her is in regards to the child my husband and she have together. Which would be my step-son. One other question according to the Indiana Child Visitation Guideline book we are to have him so many weeks for the summer. The ex wife states that the childs therapist thinks that he should not stay consecutive time. The ex-wife has already been in contempt of court several times my question is does she need something from the court to state this since the judge stated to go by the guidelines?

Re: Problems with Husbands Ex Wife

There should be a no contact order. However, they could arrest you for harrasment.

She is required to follow the court's order until it is changed.
