Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana

Your Question: In my divorce decree does not state anything on my ex husband's military benefits will I still recieve it. I let him have his thrift savings plan and civillian 401K. Please let me know. I was married to him 12 years, 5 months, and 5 days.

If your decree does not award you property, you have to assume you will not get it. If it does not mention the military retirement AT ALL, you may have grounds to reopen the case, but please make sure you discuss that with an attorney and have that attorney represent you. This is not a do-it-yourself project.
