visitation for children

if a parent does not show up or call on their turn to pick up kids. Can they just call and expect to come and get them when they want. And do I have to allow that?

The short answer is yes. The long answer is that it is a bit more complicated. If your case is under the Parenting Time Guidelines, you need to take a look at the Guidelines.

If this is a regular practice, you can bring a petition in court. However, you have no right absent a court order to modify parenting time.
