Abandon..stuff

If someone left a bunch of tools in your garage and you have requested them be removed and they are left for more than 60 days, legally can you get rid of them, sell them, dispose of them?

There being no statute on this, the question about legality goes into a bit of twilight zone territory. I think you would need to expect a suit from the other person.
