Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Indiana

Blocking a sale of property

We own a plot of land next door, which we used as collateral for a loan. As far as we are concerned, the ''loaner'' (who lives in Colorado) has been paid back. He claims he has not and is pursuing a sale of our property. How can we block that sale, until proof of our repayment can be made?

Re: Blocking a sale of property

You will need to file for a Temporary restraining order and a demand for accounting. You need to get together all of your payments to show that you have had it paid in full.
