Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Indiana

Boss refuses to pay

Recently I was working for oparka construction and after three weeks of not receiving compensation for services rendered, I told the owner that unless he paid the 2400 dollars he was past due on, my services would no longer be available. He gave me a line of crap and said i'd have my money the next day. A day turned into a week and a week to a month, and right at christmas to boot. Needless to say i'm furious to put it lightly. Question #1 do I have legal leg to stand on here? Question #2 Is there some way I can get the word out about this guy so he does not get the chance to do this to other people.

Thanks in advance.

The Indiana Department of Labor will investigate your complaint, put the unlawful wage denier on a watch list, and collect your wages. If they don't, contact your state representatives to the Indiana General Assembly. Website above should get you started. Good luck.
