Emoitonal distress for dog attack

Can a person sue for emotional distress to their child if their child witnessed a dog attacking their dog? The child was not injured or even touched by the attacking dog.

There is no case law in Indiana regarding witnessing a dog attack. However, your claim would be a reaonable expansion on similar case law. Your case would nt be viewed as frivilous if there are strong damages.
