Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Indiana

I'm engaged to a once divorced woman with a 2 year old daughter. Her ex-husband, during his visitation weekend, asked the 2 year old if she ever "saw my hiny(rear)" She said yes(which is not true). My fiance is afraid that he going to start accusing me of stuff with the daughter. My fiance's father, who sides with the ex, told him he's afraid I'm going to hurt the daughter. These two are trying to split us up and it will probably get worse as the wedding approaches in February. Is there anything I can do to protect myself against these accusations?

Have someone present at all times when you are with the 2 year old daughter. Preferably, soneone other than your fiance.
