Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Indiana

My friends Facebook page has been broken into and locked her out of the account, along with her Email so she can not even notify Facebook of this problem!

It has been taken over by someone who has repeatedly sent hate mail and threating messages to a certain group of people, pretending to be her. Now one of the people who got a threating message wants to press Charges on them and has claimed they did. My question is, can messages from Facebook hold up in court when her page was hacked and taken over? I have messages sent to me that proves it is not my friend. They talk about her, and even threaten her as well. I have print outs of them as well. What is your legal advice here. What should my friend do to prove it was not her?

Thank you for any help!

Looks like you did some of it for her. She needs to set up a sepearate email account and contact Facebook and her email provider with the lockout information. She should make a police report also, if they will allow for it.
