travel while h1b tranfer pending

Hi, i recently applied for h1 transfer for new company and started working for them. But due to cirumstances, i need to travel outside usa and planning to come back after 4 weeks.Does my h1 Receipt notice (and employment letter and paystubs) would be sufficient without any trouble at POE? My client is same, but my employer is different, please sugget.

If you are from Canada then the I-797 along with other documents specified by the CIS would suffice. If you are not from Canada, then you need to be in possession of a valid entry stamp in your passport. If you do not have a valid entry stamp in your passport then you need to get one at a U.S. Consulate abroad. This can be obtained in your home country or, under some circumstances, in a third country (like Canada or Mexico).
