Is it possible for a victim of satanic ritual abuse to ask asylum in the USA?
Hello,

I am a 27 year old woman. A year ago I came to the USA to get away and
to heal from the severe abuse I have endured from my family, incest and
satanic ritual abuse. The day I left my country is the day I
got free from the abuse.

I live with a woman who is a resident of the USA. She invited me to live
with her and is supporting me financially. I am currently here on a visa
waiver which will expire soon.

After a hospitalization in a psychiatric hospital, specialized in abuse issues, the staff gave me the advice to look into the possibility of asylum because of the danger I would be in when I have to go back to my home country and the problems I have to get the right papers to be able to stay here in the USA.

Can you tell me if it is possible to ask for asylum under these circumstances? The hospital is willing to help me if they can.

No, not if the abuse was from family.
