Legal Question in Insurance Law in Indiana

Insurance agency saying my policy is affected by my husband's auto accident.

My car insurance agent is telling me that if a vehicle report comes back saying my husband is 50% or more at fault for a minor auto accident that occured 6/02, they will have to cancel MY policy. I have only one ticket (speeding) personally and had no problems obtaining the policy in the first place. My husband is not listed as a driver on the policy, only as a member of my household. The agent is saying that's all that matters. Can they legally do this?

Yes they can. Essentially, you don't have to do business with anyone you don't want to and they have the same right. Plus your husband is in your household and would come under the household exclusion under your policy. He can't drive your car unless he is named on the policy. If you don't want to shop at a certain store that's your choice. If a store does not want your business that is their choice so long as it doesn't violate the constitution. From what you have said they have the right.
