Legal Question in Intellectual Property in Indiana

Domain Name

I was in a band and I bought the domain name of the person who is the band ''star'' if you will, and I ran the website for 6 years, paying monthly to have it hosted and spending many hours and lots of money promoting it online and off. Now I am being sued for it. I will give it over if they pay me what I want and meet my terms of not using my name, image or talents for future monetary gain. Will the domain name be taken from me?

you really need to speak to an attorney immediately. assuming an ICANN complaint has been filed against you there is very little time to respond. i cant answer your question regarding rights without knowing more, however it is a pretty good sign that you have been running the site for 6 years. justin lampel 847.845.4345
