Legal Question in Employment Law in Indiana

17 yo female employee slapped by manager

My 17 yo dtr was slapped across the face by her male manager, age 27, at work because a cooler door accidentally hit him while she was putting food away. That same night, he cornered her in the back of the restaurant after asking her to show him her nipples. He put his hand down her shirt. There were no witnesses. I have filed a police report against this individual but after 4 days have not heard anything from the detective. What action can I take against the franchise/owner and are both incidents considered sexual harassment? I want to make sure both issues are addressed, not just one or the other.
