Legal Question in Employment Law in Indiana

I am a Catholic school teacher. I'm paid 26 pay checks, every 2 weeks. I could be paid 22 pay checks, with no summer payments. I have keys to my classroom and other places I keep my materials for teaching.

I was told this last pay check to turn in my keys or I would not be paid. My question: Is that legal?

My contract states nothing about turning in keys to be paid.

Thanks...Pat

Yes, it is legal. If you have personal belongings, you should remove them before leaving for the summer.
