Legal Question in Employment Law in Indiana

i work at a hotel. when i was hired it was for four days a week, both because that's all i wanted, and due to school conflicts. lately i've experienced subtle pressure to work more than that...nothing i can't handle, or terribly inappropriate though. recently my boss told me flat out, that if the situation arose, and i wasn't willing to work more if he wanted me to, he'd get rid of me.

this strikes me as not being allowed, but i understand employers can fire you for almost any reason, and that if he were to say the nature of my position has changed, i'd probably have to live with it one way or another. i just wanted to see if this is indeed allowed, or if i have recourse? thanks!
