Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Indiana

do you have 3 buisness days to cancel a lease agreement for an apartment, if the lease is not the oral agreement you had made. i live in indiana, and was taking over a lease for someone else, which was agreed upon by all parties. the lease was to end in january. the lease they had me sign was a new one year lease, instead of the agreed upon continuation of another persons lease that was to be up in january. i was told i could not have a walk through or could not fill out a paper to list damages, because i was just assuming the other persons lease. the other person also rolled over their security and pet deposit to me, since i was assuming their lease. the lease i was given is a brand new lease,do i have 3 business days to cancel this, since it is not what was discussed, and agreed upon?
