was involved in a car accident and i let my insurance laps but the other vehicle is at fault and has insurance but looks like the drive may not be covered and was sited a misdermenor i have broken ribs ..help

As long as you were NOT at fault, you can and should recover. Consult a personal injury attorney ASAP. If you received a ticket, contact a traffic attorney also.
