Legal Question in Personal Injury in Indiana

Had a minor accident with In IndyGo bus on a tight downtown intersection. I was in the inside lane and thought the bus was going straight and it wipped around as I was changing lanes and hit the left rear. The driver, supervisor, and via phone supervisors, boss said I could leave bc there was no damage. a week later I get a claims notice for damage to the engine of the bus. IMPD was not called bc te supervisor said they took forever and since there was no damage no problem go on to work. am I liable for damages to a (old bus) engine not the new Indygo older bus. The driver even said the engine had been difficult when she was unable to start it immediately. They say they have a video showing my fault. Also on the same intersection the same day I saw a Indygo bus accident the same way. Am I at fault?
