My apt has been broken into twice..one report says buglary the other says residential entry with intent to assault a female. Is this a valid release to terminate the lease in Indiana?
You need to identify what security lapses are the responsibility of the landlord and how those led to the burglaries. You should sit down and review these facts and your lease with an attorney.
I agree with Jay. It may be possible to get out of the lease under some circumstances.
