Re: want to keep a county road open

There are too many variables involved in an easement question to answer in this internet format. You need to confer with a local attorney experienced in real estate law. Was the road an easement listed in your deed? Is the road necessary to access your property? Does the road in any way touch your property? Is the road entirely on the neighbor's property? Have you been using the road against the neighbor's consent for a number of years? These and many more questions must be addressed before you can get an answer to what your rights are in the situation. Good luck.
