Is there a limit on the amount of increase in rent that is legal in Indiana? Must a landlord give written notice for a rent increase? If so, what is the notice period?

The amount of rent is valid and binding for the term of the rental agreement. If it's a year lease, the rent is governed by that term. If it's 30 days, then the rent is valid for that period. A change can occur when your existing rental period expires, unless there is an option for the parties to extend the terms and conditions of the existing agreement. There is no limit on the amount of increase in rent.
