Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Indiana

Recieved a Summons

I just recieved a Summons in the mail. Apparently this couple that I use to rent to defaulted on a Mortgage, and now the Mortgage company is forclosing on the property they own.. now where I come in a few years back I had taken this same couple to small claims court..and won a judgement, but they never paid. So I got this Summons..I need to know where I go from here. What I need to do? Do I put a lien on the property? If so how do you do that? They say I only have 20 days to respond. I just trying to figure out what my steps are. And if it worth going thru.

Re: Recieved a Summons

You were served because you have a judgment lien on the property. The mortgge company had to serve all people in interest. If you feel that your judgment shouold take precedent over the mortgage then you need to reply and should contact an attorney.
