Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Indiana

Uniform Enforcement of Judgment Acts

I live in Indiana, but am being sued on a promissory note executed in Florida for a loan of closing costs on a home I purchased. I have not paid the loan. The bearer of the note lives and is filing suit in Florida. Will they be able to come after me in Indiana if a judgment is issued by the court against me?

They will have to register the judgment and then can try to collect from you in Indiana.
