Certificate of Deposit

My spouse passed away and his mother is in an alzheimers unit in IND. His sister asked me for his death cert. so she could cash in a CD of their mothers that had his name on it also. The bank has not contacted me. My question is if their mom passes away since his name is on her CD's will I get his share as his spouse of 30 years. Her will reads surviving children. But would that include CD's?

Sorry but if the CD was held jointly then it is mom's property. You would get nothing from the CD.
