Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Indiana

What happens if an Executor spends money from an Estate? I have a sibling who is the executor of my deceased father's estate. She has spent a little bit of money out of his estate against my advice on things other than funeral costs, legal fees, and administrative fees. I understand that my father's debt must be paid by the estate. If all the creditors make their claims against the estate, and the estate is say $1,000 short of repaying them all due to the previously mentioned spending by the executor, what legal repercussions are there against the executor?

If an estate was opened and a personal representative (the executor) spends money improperly, they may be liable to the estate and those entitled to collect from the estate.
