Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Indiana

My Father died when I was 14 years old. We never met each other or intended to. He owned a local business in my home town in which is now ran by his other sons. People keep telling me that I am entitled to something. My Mother nor I was ever contacted regaurding a will. I am now 23 years old and he died almost 10 years ago. I was just wondering if I was entitled to anything, and if I am how do I go about claiming what is rightfully mine?

Thanks.

You are probably out of luck, but you should check the estate files at the probate court in the county where your father died to see if a will was probated, and/or an estate opened. That would give you an idea of what he left in his will, and to whom. You then need to take this information and sit down with a lawyer who can review it and help you determine its significance...there are too many variables to properly advise you in this forum.

Good luck.
