Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Indiana

My mom passed away within the last two weeks in Indiana and my younger sister and I would like to obtain a copy of her will. However, my older sister who is the executor of the estate has not been forthright in providing a copy of the will. The estate is valued at approximately $90,000 due to her home and a piece of land originally owned by my Dad not to mention money in a undisclosed area bank enough to sustain my mom for 20 years plus after my Dad died less than 5 years ago. Would the will not have to go into probate along with the estate? How long does our older sister have to place the will/estate in probate and how do my younger sister and I obtain a copy of the will?

If your sister does not file the will with the clerk of the county where your mother died, you can obtain a court order to make her do so. You should contact an attorney to get this done for you.
