Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Indiana

My mother passed away and I have 2 older siblings. My uncle is the executor of the estate, who is of age and ill. He has passed the estate onto an attorney. My brother gave the attorney the will and some other paperwork that had been hidden in my deceased parents paperwork. My parents kept everything including tax paperwork from 25yrs ago. I went through a horrible divorce and my parents helped me pay for some of the cost 4yrs ago. I wrote my parents a note promising to pay the money back per my attorney trying to get my ex to have to pay legal fees. My father had never intended me to pay the money back but my brother went through my parents paperwork and found that note and turned it in like it was with the will. The attorney is saying that this money is being considered in the division of the will. What can I do about this legally?

Hire an attorney, though with the facts as presented you will probably have to pay the money you owe.
