Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Indiana

My Mother passed away 10/280/08. She did not have a will. Her husband refuses to give my sister and I any personal affects. Do we have any rights and is there a statute of limitations?

As to personal property that was in their household when she died, the answer is that the property is his to do with as he sees fit.
