Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Indiana

Is there ever a reason during the drawing of a will to need a house deed & bank info?

I have a friend who is 91, he is healthier & mentally astute more than anyone I know.

He is being told by a former family member that he is helping him fix his will.

But has gone to all his banks and got the deed to his house. I am not sure what he did at

the banks, but that, with the deed, really has me concerned.

This man told me the family wants my friend in an assisted living home, which there are no grounds for.

My friend has enough money & good insurance that he could hire live-in help if needed.

I am going to tell my friend so that he is not blindsided and loses his home and money,

and I want to know the correct information on this, hoping there may be a legitimate reason for this.

Thank you

The real estate description and bank account might very well be needed depending on what estate planning your friend is doing. I am sure if he is the most mentally astute person you know that he can ask questions of any lawyer preparing these documents for him in this matter.
