My wife passed away last year, when she passed away, she left a large sum of money in a bank account, it was in a special needs trust, since she passed, and there is no longer any special needs, I was wondering if i am entilted to the money. At the moment her brother is the trustee on the account,

All depends on what the trust says, not just what it is called. Take the trust document to a lawyer.

The beneficiaries of the trust would be listed in the trust. You need to secure a copy of the trust, if you are able to do so, and have it reviewed by counsel. If you are not a beneficiary and you do not have a copy of the trust, you may not be entitled to a copy.
