Legal Question in Consumer Law in Iowa
I have been living with my fiance for 3 years. He recently passed away and his sibling changed the lock on the house. I had mail delivered there and proof of residence. Do they have the right to do this?

You could probably be considered a holdover tenant and eviction proceedings must be pursued by the estate of the decedent.
