cc colection after someones death?
My mother died in april of 2006. now her CC card company is trying to sue for the debt. There was a small life insurance policy that 5 brothers and sisters split that they say they have legal clame to for the debt. Is this correct?

Was there a Will? What was amount of CC claim?
What was amount of life insurance?
The CC claim would likely be a probate debt, the question is whether the Life Ins proceeds becomes a probate asset.
