How do I legally have jewelry returned to me that was stolen by my sister from my home?

If it was stolen, it is a criminal matter, and you can call the police. This, however, might make things a bit tense during holidays and birthdays. You can also file suit against her, which will also result in less than happy family gatherings. Have you tried asking her for it?
