Legal Question in Criminal Law in Iowa

There were 4 teens involved in putting a gas filled bottle in a car and lighting it-two charged with 1st degree arson, two not charged. One boy is out on medical reasons, the other is sitting in a detention center and was refused reduced bond and release due to being unable to return to school due to a restraining order filed after arrest to keep the boy whose car was burned and him apart. They had been in school together for 7? weeks prior to arrest without incidence. None of these boys are 18,
however, they (he) is/ are being held as adults. I need to know how do we proceed to help the one that appears to be stuck at this point. He will be bonded out, but what next???? This is in the state of Iowa.
