Legal Question in Criminal Law in Iowa
Long story short i broke a window at a bar and i gave them 500 dollars on the spot so that no legal trouble would happen. Now they have reached out to me and want anotehr 410 for the window. I havent asked to see an invoice. They have a video of what happened and know that it was an accident. Im guessing they dont want to report it to their insurance. Could they come after me if i dont mail them a check for the extra 410 they want?

I think you're entitled to see some documentation of their expenses. They could sue you in small claims court for the balance.
