simple midimeanor theft 5th degree
I was at wal-mart with a friend and he took two bottlesof alcohol. I did not have anything on me and was telling him its a bad idea...i drove there and did not want to be involved but i couldnt just leave my friend...i told the wal-mart security what happened he said i would not be charged but when the police got there they charged me because they said i was a lookout but i was not...what am i looking at for punishment and can i get out of this?

Plead not guilty and get yourself an attorney. There's a fine and the potential for thirty days in jail.
