Legal Question in Discrimination Law in Iowa

Under oath a Director of Noah's Ark in Fairfield, IA, said that she knew me back in 2013. She said that she knew me. I was asked the same question and I told the prosecuting attorney that I never knew the woman. In fact, I didn't moved to Fairfield, till early June of 2015. I lived near Unionville, Mo which is over 2 hrours drive away and never drove anywhere else other than Unionville, Mo or Altoona, IA(where my brother and his wife live). Some how Since there was no attorney to catch this lie I am wondering if it would have changed any intent of the procecuting attorney meant for it to mean. I know this seems unclear, but I don't know the law or I would have asked a question of the magistrate to the extent that I wanted to know what the relevance of the question was to the type of case they were presenting at the time. But had never been in a hearing before so didn't know if it was proper to ask such a question

It's a moot question at this point because the hearing is over. You didn't ask whether it would have made a difference.
