The father of my three month old wants to relinquish his rights without payment of child support. Both parties live in Iowa. I don't even know his address. I did not put his name on the birth certificate because he lied and said he would be involved. He cheated on me while I was still preagnet went to jail for a probation violation. Got out and I was informed by his cousin of his "new life". What should I do to get child support? I have given him options to be involved with no reply. He has not once even asked about our babied well being.

If you've ever taken so much as a food stamp, you can get the CSRU involved on your behalf. You will most likely have to establish his paternity and they can assist with this as well.
