Legal Question in Family Law in Iowa

I want to file a motion to intervene for partial guardianship and or visitations with my grand children. They are currently living with there paternal grand parent and she is proabley going to get guardianship of them at this time. and I just want to be able to have contact with them to be able to spend time with them right now i call them once a week for ten minutes a piece i have a very strong bond with these kids and i miss them very much ive allready have lost a year or so i was visiting at there house but things happened and no body besides the parents can visit not nothing i have done just a dsh decision.

Unless there's an open court case you have no basis to intervene or any other thing. I would suggest you hire an attorney if you're in any doubt as to what your rights are as a grandparent in this matter.
