Are you a U.S. Citizen or a Permanent Resident? Or, do you have another form of visa status? Also, has your fiance ever been to the U.S.? If yes, has he ever had any criminal or immigration problems?

Note, most out-of-state attorneys can legally help you because we are permitted to practice federal immigration law outside of our state of jurisdiction. Please feel free to contact me for a free initial consultation.

You can either marry him in Mexico and then go back to USA and apply for his Immigrant visa (green card), or you can file a Fiance visa petition, so he can come on a Fiance visa and you can marry him here in Iowa.

I assume that you are a USA ctizen. If you are not a citizen, then it will depend on your status.
