Legal Question in Immigration Law in Iowa

my husband is in custody with an immigration hold, his hearing is coming up soon. still trying to find a lawyer that i can afford, he is in for immigration violation convicted of a crime back in 1998. i have tried several lawyers but nothing i can afford! is there anything we can do to prepare, without a lawyer! need help asap!

You need a lawyer who specialized in removal defense (deportations). Unfortunately, there is nothing that you can do to prepare when your husband is facing deportation and possibly permanent separation from his family in U.S. Look for lawyers in Omaha - it could be cheaper because they don't have to drive to hearing from Iowa to Omaha.
