Legal Question in Juvenile Dependency in Iowa

Emancipation/adult status

Sorry, here is my question:

If a 18 year old (adult in Iowa) moves to Nebraska, are they considered a my minor? If they move to Nebraska, are the parents legally responsible for the child? or are they considered an adult in Nebraska by virtue of where they moved from? This child is in a job training facility and the purpose for moving is for a job after their training is complete.

Re: Emancipation/adult status

A person is subject to the laws of the state that they are in. If a person, of legal age in Iowa moves to Nebraska they aren't emancipated any more according to that state's law.
