Legal Question in Employment Law in Iowa

If safety awareness, first aid, CPR, OSHA,

lead & asbestos awareness, MSDS & GHS,

fall protection, training is mandatory, should we get paid for the entire training session?

That sounds like a question for the labor commissioner. However, Iowa is a right to work state which means you can be fired for any reason. good reason or no reason at all unless you have a contract of employment or are subject to a collective bargaining agreement.
