Legal Question in Military Law in Iowa

I am in the army. I have not received my army bonus for my last installment. Which in my contract states that is will come upon the completion of the 4th year. That has been two months ago!!!!!! I'm not very wealthy and cant afford to be the banker to the army. I have notified my chain of command and have not received any further information on what they are doing.

I sympathize but it's a little bit out of my line of work. Unless they've got some time line they have to follow to pay you, you'll just have to be patient I'm afraid. Having made your commanding officer aware of the problem is all you can do I think.
