Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Iowa

my dad is a owner of a house that was deeded to him by his son. His girlfirend somehow behind his back was able to get this home put in her name, his name and thehouse going back to my brother when they both die. She drummed up a situation where my dad was removed from teh home adn she was given temporary possesion. He tried to take her to court and the judge from washington county blantently allowed her to commit purgery on the stand even allowed her to hide documents or not have to disclose docuemnts and he lost he case due to the judges ruling. today he gets a proposal in the mail from this women and her attorney saying that if my dad does not pay her half of the value of hte house she is going to assure the house goes to foreclosure so my brother and father can't have the house htat was intended for them and that my brother bought and deeeded to them. Is this legal to use black mail eithe ryou pay me what i want else I will make sure you loose it all is this kind of proposal even legal. Why does ths women who admitted to stealing 86 thousand dolars and is a city counceliman get all the judges and lawyers to treat my dad this way when all he did was allowed this owmen to move in with him and she took control over everyhting behind his back. Oh the judge ruled that she owed no duty to my dad well this is a case of property thefrt an money theft but it is legal to do if you are on the city counsel does a thief tell you they are going ot steal from you before they steal it? This women admitted she has taken everythign admitted that she never gave him anything and now he is being told you pay me what I want or I will see to it you loose it all is there no justice for men in this world how can this be legal
