Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Iowa

Purchased a home and passed termite inspection 1 week later found live termites. Who is responsible for treatment and damage to home structure? We live in Iowa.

Possibly the termite inspection company, possibly the seller, possibly nobody. Basically it depends on whether anyone knew there were termites before you purchased the property. Were the termites obvious, or were they only discovered when you removed a wall or some furniture? You should contact the attorney who represented you for this transaction.
