Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Iowa

Can I record an affidavit stating that the professional land surveyor certification I put on an ALTA Land Title Survey is no longer valid? We are in Iowa and have not been paid for our services.

You're attempting to short circuit the judicial procedure by perpetrating a fiction in the form of the affidavit.If you're not paid your remedy is a lawsuit or a lien if you have one.
