Legal Question in Tax Law in Iowa

If one of the company's I worked for last year filed bankruptcy last year, are they still required to send out my W2 by jan 31st?

I would think that that would have to be done if they are still in business. If they are not in business you should contact the US bankruptcy trustee assigned to the case to get hold of your records.
